Re: Original 1-wire Temp Sensor [ Read Responses | Post a New Response | Return to the Index ]
Posted by Phil on Monday, 19 July 2010, at 9:57 p.m., Most of my original sensors are still installed and running fine. Some have taken a hit due to excessive condensation (mainly on cold water pipes) I will tell you, when I finally found a production source for sensors I had a big sigh of relief. They took a long time pro produce by hand. I'll add that I've also been more than happy with the new sensors. I can't say that I really notice any degradation in performance. Phil.

This site is all about building a cool, energy efficient house, that makes maximum use of earth sheltered design, passive solar heating and cooling, geothermal exchange energy management, and right sizing of the house for it's designated use. The home's placement is on a south-facing hillside in Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. This site describes the design process, the technologies used and the expected results. We also have a comprehensive Links Page for anyone who is also interested in designing a similar project. |
