Original 1-wire Temp Sensor [ Read Responses | Post a New Response | Return to the Index ]
Posted by Benito Loyola on Saturday, 17 July 2010, at 2:48 p.m. 1. What epoxy do you suggest using to glue the copper wire to 1-Wire temp sensor when one makes their own with your DIY sensor? 2. Would you suggest using a thermal paste between all sensors (copper wire or stainless steel tube) and the pipe you are measuring? 3. You use the plastic encapsulated sensor to clamp to a pipe in your support file instructions but only talk about measuring air temps in the online store write-up and on the stainless steel tube sensor write-up you do talk about using it on pipes. Which one is the best to use on copper pipe?

This site is all about building a cool, energy efficient house, that makes maximum use of earth sheltered design, passive solar heating and cooling, geothermal exchange energy management, and right sizing of the house for it's designated use. The home's placement is on a south-facing hillside in Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. This site describes the design process, the technologies used and the expected results. We also have a comprehensive Links Page for anyone who is also interested in designing a similar project. |
