Re: MIN MAX [ Read Responses | Return to the Index ]
Posted by Bill on Sunday, 27 July 2008, at 6:07 p.m., Thanks for the kind words. Actually though, it's the elegant simplicity of the WEL that makes it so powerful and capable. Probably the key most thing I do to conserve 'device slots' is use the WEL's Calibration screen. As Phil points out, any kind of addition, subtraction, multiplication or division involving constants can and should be done with the WEL's scale and offset capabilities, thereby not costing any device slot. I do replicate device values quite a bit. I do this by adding 0 to the value. To preserve my run monitor device slots (only have one unused monitor left), I have a constant set up: ZERO = 0. All of my device replication is done by refering to the ZERO expression. Best regards, Bill Responses
This site is all about building a cool, energy efficient house, that makes maximum use of earth sheltered design, passive solar heating and cooling, geothermal exchange energy management, and right sizing of the house for it's designated use. The home's placement is on a south-facing hillside in Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. This site describes the design process, the technologies used and the expected results. We also have a comprehensive Links Page for anyone who is also interested in designing a similar project. |
